The Essex Pride Festival celebrates, honors, and holds space for our LGBTQIA+ friends, neighbors, loved ones, and family. The rainbow ribbon-cutting ceremony at 1 pm is followed by a walking/rolling parade through Maple Street Park. We kick off the all-ages Festival with Vermont’s chapter of Drag Story Hour for an afternoon filled with performances by local artists and musicians, including youth from Essex Schools. Enjoy vendors, local organizations, and activities including the Community Canvas and Roller Disco. We end the event with a celebratory dance party with GAYBAR.
